DE REGT Marine Cables is a prominent name in the design and production of tailor-made, specialist, dynamic or static cable solutions. Our company has over 90 years of experience in technological innovation and production of various cable designs. These are used in many areas, including the oil and energy sector, defense, seismic exploration and scientific projects.

Employee Termination / Service (electrical and glass fiber technology)

As a Termination employee you are part of the Company’s Termination department. You work closely with your colleagues from your own department and with the Production department.

Responsibilities:
As an employee Termination you are responsible for:

• The assembly (electrical and fiberoptic) of terminations on the basis of drawings and work preparation data. You make use of coating compositions according to a fixed recipe. Then attach it to the cables (both new construction and repair), taking into account the applicable workshop instructions and safety regulations.
• You manufacture test setups and interpret the measured values and check whether they meet the customer’s requirements. You consult with the production assistant Termination or with the Supervisor Termination for deviations, drawings that are incorrect and if the correct materials or parts are not present.

What we ask:

• In possession of degree MTS Electro level 3
• Some years of work experience within a production environment
• Experience with fiber optic technology is a plus
• Experience with traveling offshore is a plus
• Work attitude is accurate, precise and disciplined
• Technical insight, craftsmanship and enthusiasm
• Good knowledge of the Dutch and English language
